YouTube
Connect a channel so agents can read its details, recent uploads, and analytics.
YouTube uses your own Google Cloud OAuth client. Jak requests youtube.readonly and yt-analytics.readonly. It cannot upload, edit, or publish videos through this connection.
Before you connect
Complete Google app setup. Enable YouTube Data API v3 and YouTube Analytics API in the project that owns your Client ID. Use a Google account with access to the channel you want to analyze.
Connect the channel
- Select your product and open Tools → Providers → YouTube → Connect YouTube.
- Enter Google OAuth Client ID and a client secret if required. For local use, create a Desktop client. For hosted use, use a Web client and register your origin plus
/api/v1/oauth/youtube/callback. - If this product already has Search Console connected, Use existing Google app can reuse its credentials. Enable both YouTube APIs in that project first.
- Choose Continue to Google, select the channel’s Google account, and grant the requested read access.
- Return to Tools and check the saved channel label and connection status.

Ask Yousef:
Read our connected YouTube channel. Summarize the recent uploads and compare their performance over the last 28 days. Include the date range and identify which conclusions the available data supports.
The connection supports channel details, recent uploads, and bounded Analytics reports. Available results depend on channel access and the report requested.
If something goes wrong
For an empty or unexpected channel, reconnect with the correct Google account and channel identity. For an API error, confirm both APIs are enabled. See the shared Google troubleshooting steps.
