Products and briefs
Give agents a shared understanding of what you sell, who it serves, and how to talk about it.
Each product has its own brief, chats, tasks, connections, and schedules. Agents are shared across the workspace and use the context of the product you select.
Create a product
Open Products → New product, enter Product name, and choose Create product. This registers the name and opens the product editor. Add the brief before assigning substantive work.
Write the brief
| Field | What to include |
|---|---|
| Story | What the product does, why it exists, and what makes it useful |
| Audience | Who uses or buys it, their situation, and the problem they need to solve |
| Offer | What customers can buy or try, including relevant pricing and calls to action |
| Voice samples | Real examples of language that sounds like your brand |
| Preferences | Terms to use or avoid, constraints, and working preferences |
Choose Save brief. Be concrete: “Operations leads at teams of 10–50 people” gives the team more direction than “businesses.” Keep claims, pricing, and offers current.
Import a website
Enter a public Website under Import a website, then choose Fetch preview. Jak reads the homepage and up to two same-origin About or Pricing pages and proposes brief fields. A configured default model can refine the proposal.
Read and edit every proposed field, then choose Save brief. Importing is a starting point; it does not continuously synchronize your website or save the proposed brief without review.
Switch context
Use the Product selector in the top bar before chatting, connecting a tool, or managing repeating tasks. A connection belongs to that product and is available to its agents. Connecting an account for one product does not connect it to every product.
New work uses the current brief when it is accepted. Existing task revisions retain their saved context and plan; updating a brief does not rewrite work already underway.
Archive a product
Open the product and choose Archive product. Its history remains available and its schedules are paused. Review pending work and connected accounts before archiving a product you still use.
