Tools overview
Connect each product to the accounts your team needs for research, analytics, and approved exports.
On this page
Open Tools and select the right Product in the top bar. Connections are shared by all agents working on that product. Your model must pass the tool-calling test to use connected account data.
Choose a setup guide
Each provider has a separate guide because the credentials, account requirements, and available actions differ.
| Tool | Setup | What Jak can do |
|---|---|---|
| DataFast | Sign in with OAuth | Read selected websites and analytics |
| Plausible | Stats API key | Read sites, traffic, and sources |
| YouTube | Your Google Cloud app | Read channel data, uploads, and analytics |
| Search Console | Your Google Cloud app | Read search performance and indexing status |
| Google Analytics | Your Google Cloud app | Read GA4 properties and reports |
| Mangools | Sign in with OAuth | Research keywords, search results, links, and rankings |
| MailerLite | Sign in with OAuth | Read campaigns; approve drafts and supported automation edits |
| Kit | Sign in with OAuth; paid Kit plan | Read broadcasts and approve private drafts |
| Typefully | Sign in with OAuth | Read social sets and drafts; finish publishing in Typefully |
| X | Your X Developer app | Read the account; finish publishing in X |
| Your approved Reddit app | Search public posts with read-only access | |
| Notion | Sign in with OAuth | Search and read pages; export accepted work as child pages |
| GitHub | Your installed GitHub App | Read repository source with commit-pinned links |
| Custom HTTP tools | HTTPS endpoint and optional API key | Register an endpoint; general execution UI is not yet available |
Google integrations share a Google app setup guide. You still connect and authorize each service separately.
Connect and check access
- Select a provider in Tools → Providers and follow its guide.
- Complete sign-in or save the requested credentials.
- Check the saved account and status on its card.
- Ask an agent for a small read, such as listing available properties or reading one recent campaign.
- Confirm the returned account and data match what you intended to connect.
The catalog’s verification label and a saved account’s status describe different things. Unverified can mean a provider adapter has not passed a live check; saving credentials alone does not prove they work. Connected means the connection flow or a supported request succeeded, not that every possible operation has been tested.
An expired connection needs authorization or new credentials. A limited connection has hit a provider limit; allow it to recover or narrow the request.
Reads and approved actions
Chat tools expose research and read operations. Writes use separate owner-approved actions. Accepting a task does not approve an external operation.
The current task screen includes specific controls for Notion exports, Kit and MailerLite drafts, and supported MailerLite automation changes. It does not yet include a complete approval workflow for X, Typefully, or custom HTTP actions. Their guides explain the available browser workflows. See Publishing and exports.
If an action reports an uncertain outcome, check the provider before retrying. The task’s I have verified the provider result control records your check; it does not verify or resend anything itself.
Disconnect an account
Choose Delete beside the saved account in Tools. This removes the connection and stored credential from that product. To revoke the service’s authorization too, remove Jak from the provider’s authorized-app settings.
Keep credentials in the connection forms. Agents do not need passwords, client secrets, or API keys pasted into a chat or product brief.
