Google Analytics (GA4)
Connect your Google account to read GA4 properties and traffic, acquisition, page, and event reports.
Jak connects directly to Google’s Analytics Admin and Data APIs. You need your own Google Cloud OAuth client and access to the GA4 properties. You do not need a separate MCP server or an API key.
Before you connect
Complete Google app setup. Enable Google Analytics Admin API and Google Analytics Data API in the same project. Confirm your Google account has access to the desired GA4 property. Google’s Analytics API quickstart explains API and property access.
Connect Google Analytics
- Select your product and open Tools → Providers → Google Analytics → Connect Google Analytics.
- Choose Use existing Google app if a Google connection already exists in this product, or enter Google OAuth Client ID.
- For a hosted Web client, also enter Client secret and register the redirect URI shown in the form. Its path ends in
/api/v1/oauth/google-analytics/callback. - Choose Continue to Google and select the account with GA4 access.
- Grant read-only Analytics access and return to Jak.
Jak requests analytics.readonly. It cannot change your Analytics configuration through this connection.
Try it
Ask Reese:
List my accessible GA4 properties. For our main product property, summarize traffic acquisition and top landing pages for the last seven days, compared with the previous seven days. State the property and date ranges.
Agents can list properties and read bounded traffic, acquisition, page, event, and revenue reports. Revenue results depend on the data your property collects.
If something goes wrong
Enable both APIs if property discovery or reporting fails. If a property is missing, verify the connected account’s access in GA4. If Google sign-in or token refresh fails, use the shared Google troubleshooting guide.
